Jeffrey G. DeLine, CPA
Jeff comes to Julie Bauman, CPA, with 28 years of accounting and auditing experience. Jeff graduated from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in May 1989 and began working for the Nebraska State Legislature. After a little over two years at the Legislature, and a tour to Saudi Arabia as part of Operation Desert Shield/Storm, he went to work for the Nebraska State Auditor's Office. Jeff worked for eight years at the State Auditor's Office, working the last three years as the Report Review Manager, he then started working for Dana F. Cole and Company, LLP (DFC). Jeff worked twenty years at DFC, managing, and participating in multiple audits, reviews, and compilations for governments and non-profit organizations. Jeff is also a proud member of the United States Army Reserves. He serves as the Force Protection NCOIC for the 102nd Division (TASS), located in Fort Leonard Wood, MO, where he performs evaluations of the Division Brigades and Stand-Alone Facilities regarding Force Protection requirements. Jeff has deployed twice during his career, once during Desert Shield/Storm in 1990/91, and most recently to Afghanistan in 2014 as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant, passing the exam in 1996 and receiving his permit in 1997. He is currently licensed in Nebraska, Missouri, and Michigan. He is a member of the NE Society of CPAs, where he served as the chairperson of the Governmental Accounting and Auditing Committee, and also is a member of the AICPA, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the Government Financial Officer Association.
